Making a Beautiful Shawl!

I finished about 6 more rows of this beauty…all in yellow. Even started the next skein. Glorious, and I really LOVE the shawl. Even got to where the coloring is now a fav!!!

UNTIL…..I realized I was off one stitch and it was lopsided. I had to unravel all my rows until just about where this photo shows. My heart is broken!

I went ahead and started the other shawl for Camp Loopy. It is called Anniversary Lace. I posted a photo, etc., before.  I am not fond of real honey lace as a shawl … or even a blanket. This will be a gift this Christmas I believe. I'm getting a stack of items lined up. I love the designers final product but have a hard time with way she writes up designs. A pattern that could be two to three pages is 11 pages.  I am having to go back to the first page two or three times per row to figure out what she wants crocheted and how. Very frustrating. Perhaps when I get used to her way I will be okay. Part of it is my age and lack of brain power.

I am only on the sixth row, but it is moving along. Just started last night. I will do a few more rows and then return to the above shawl.

A little doggie TLC from my kids. They often look like twins.

  1. Love the boys lying together. Wish Indy and WIlla would do that. But, Willa does do something cute. If Indy doesn't go out with WIlla, she will wait in her. Once Indy goes out the patio door Willa does her Happy Dance and jumps around all the way across the deck until they both jump off. It just THRILLS Willa when Indy decides to go out with her.
