HOME-SWEET-HOME
The Spring flowers are beginning to make a showing (along with some dandelions!). I had my tulips planted late this year, so they may not put forth the root system they need to survive.
The Naked Lady I planted two years ago rotted out I think. I need to be in a dryer climate, and perhaps warmer, for them to survive. We had them in South Carolina and in San Diego. I tried planting them in Idaho, but they weren't happy. Don't know if they survived.
Below is in my front yard along side of the driveway. Daffodils and Iris, along with California Golden Poppies. They survived all winter it was so mild!
Below is in front of the fence line at the front of the front yard….mouthful to say fast! Only some of these were planted by me…most are survivors from the previous owner's plantings.
Very early this morning there seemed to be more snow on the mountains. It was quite chilly and serene. The sun was just barely coming up…the joys of having dogs waking the dead at O'dark hundred!
My neighbors decorative plum trees. So beautiful!
These are the Wallflowers that always bloom first in the backyard. Forgot what the little purple ones are, but they don't stay little. They get huge. Might be the Silver Dollar plant.
No crocheting to show. I started knitting on a scarf for myself but it is slow going. The virus has only made me lazier instead of more productive. You know Gone With The Wind? Well, I'm in that frame of mind….I can do it tomorrow!
Since I have time, I need to find the energy and start photographing projects.
You have a safe and delightful day. I'm looking forward to the day when I am all moved into a nice new clean house in Texas!
